Two contestants on a recent Price is Right episode made history! Two contestants hit $1 on the Big Wheel on the same day. It is very rare that the show sees any $1 spins at all, let alone two by separate people in the same episode.
If you’ve never seen the show, each contestant gets to spin the Big Wheel twice in hopes of hitting $1. If they do hit it, they win $1,000 and another spin. If they get $1 on the bonus spin, they win an additional $25,000. In a recent episode, contestants Kiara Thomas and Jack Zager both hit $1 on their bonus spins!
The Price is Right shared a celebratory tweet after the episode. An account called Pop Culture Math replied, “Awesome feat! The chance of two $26k Wheel winners on two shows is ~0.23% (1 in 440), and the chance of a second $26k winner across two shows provided you’ve seen a first is ~2.5% (1 in 40). #TPIR #PriceIsRight”

Pretty incredible, right? Many fans jumped on social media to celebrate the exciting episode. Both Kiara and Jack, along with the runner-up contestant, were able to go to the Showcase Showdown. Jack overbid but Kiara won a trip to Miami and a new car.
