Bruce Willis‘ wife Emma Heming shared a sweet video of Bruce playing basketball amid his battle with aphasia. His family recently announced his aphasia diagnosis, a disease that affects the ability to communicate. Due to the diagnosis, he also announced his retirement from acting.
Emma shared a video of Bruce playing basketball with three friends in a driveway. She shared it on her Instagram Story with the caption, “I see you BeeDub.” Bruce wears khaki pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a hat, and appears to be in good spirits.

Bruce and Emma have been married since 2009 and share two children, Mabel and Evelyn. Bruce also has three adult daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah with ex-wife Demi Moore. The families all co-exist well and have been known to hang out together on a regular basis.

Emma, Demi, and the girls all shared statements to tell fans about his diagnosis and retirement. They wrote in a joint statement, “Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”
It continued, “This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him. As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up’ and together we plan to do just that.”
