Jennifer Grey is sharing her thoughts on the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trials. Jennifer dated Johnny many years ago but said that she hasn’t spoken to him in 30 years. Even so, she said that watching the trial is very “sad.”
In a new interview, she was asked if she was shocked by anything she had heard during the trial. She responded, “I haven’t known him for 30 years. I haven’t talked to him. I haven’t seen him… The whole thing makes me insanely sad for everybody involved.”

In her new memoir called Out of the Corner, Jennifer also speaks briefly about her relationship with Johnny. She admitted that their relationship was a “f**king bonfire.” She added that he was “funny and sweet and just so charming and quirky and weird and self-effacing and just so unique and gorgeous, and he was obsessed with me and romantic.”
These days, Jennifer is just trying to focus on herself with her new memoir coming out. She’s also working on a Dirty Dancing sequel, which she will be starring in and producing. She said that it will not be a repeat of the original film but its “own thing.”
