Candace Cameron Bure Admits PDA With Husband Grosses Her Kids Out (1)

Candace Cameron Bure has admitted that PDA with her husband Valeri Bure grosses their kids out. The couple has been married since 1996 and has welcomed three kids, Natasha, 22, Lev, 21, and Maksim, 19. Candace has been known to occasionally post PDA-packed pictures with her husband on social media, but she admits she tends to tone it down now for the sake of her kids.

She recently did an interview with US Weekly discussing this, noting how she still censors herself but likes to poke fun at her kids in the process. “I actually censor myself a lot more because I do understand that it grosses them out… Sometimes we very innocently tease them with kissing and stuff, and they’re like ‘please take it somewhere else.’”

Candace also takes it upon herself to give her kids relationship advice, even if it is unsolicited. “That’s what being a parent is all about,” she says. “You’re supposed to give your children unsolicited advice. Anyone else, they can tell them no, they don’t want to hear it – but a parent should always be there to offer their best advice.”

Candace said she’d even be willing to set her kids up on dates. “If you know it’s a potentially good prospect, you know they’re from a good family and you know they might get along well, do [it],” she says.

Some kids might see this kind of mom as ‘overbearing’ in a way. Well, Candace admits she used to track her children to keep tabs on their whereabouts. “You always want to know if you’re kids are safe and because technology’s so great, that is a good use of technology,” she says. Additionally, she did go through their phones… but this is only a rule if you’re under 18 in her house.

Lastly, a fun one for sure, she allows her kids to make fun of her when watching Full House episodes where she played DJ Tanner. “That’s what makes you a good mom, is if you let your kids make fun of you,” she said. “So by all means, let’s do it. Let’s go for it.”
