The Monkees are embarking on a 2021 tour for the final time with a farewell tour. Michael Nesmith and Micky Dolenz have announced tour dates for their trek, calling it The Monkees Farewell Tour. The tour will consist of 20 dates in the U.S. venturing across cities in California, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
A poster for the tour promises fans a night full of “all the hits, deep cuts, and fan favorites” alike. There’s also a good chance fans will be able to hear the newer stuff, too – their last studio album Good Times (2016) featured contributions from Rivers Cuomo, Ben Gibbard, Noel Gallagher, and Paul Weller.
