Kate Hudson had a proud mom moment she had to share with her fans as her 2-year-old daughter Rani supported her big brother 9-year-old Bing at baseball. “Baseball never looked so sweet,” she captions the sweet photo of the two hugging. Hudson shares Rani with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa and Bing with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy. She also shares her 17-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
She recently opened up about how she raises her children alongside three different men and how she has “high” expectations in her unconventional family.

“I’ve got multiple dads, I’ve got kids all over the place,” she says with a laugh during an interview for a January episode of Sunday Today with Willie Geist. “The only expectations I really have that are really high on my life is with my kids and with family stuff… Other than that, it’s like, I just let it go … I work my a– off, and then I walk away, and I hope for the best.”

Hudson was also part of PEOPLE’s 2020 Beautiful Issue last year, and hopes to pass down what she’s learned from mom Goldie Hawn to her daughter, Rani. “My mom gave me the floor to be able to feel confident enough to go out and feel like my life could be my own,” she says. “Mom was my greatest cheerleader. And it just made me think about Rani … going, ‘I hope I give her that kind of confidence,’ you know?”

She continues, “Mom always said to me, ‘Don’t you ever let a man dim your light.’ So I’ve never defined myself through the way a man sees me, but I can define myself in the unit that we can create together. That is what Mom gave to me.”
