The left photo pictured is of Scottish inventor, John Logie Baird, using what is known as one of the very first televisions in the 1920s. The television was actually invented in 1927 and you had to look into the receiving machine to see the moving picture. Now, just about every home has some kind of television, whether it be an actual cable set or a smart TV.

These radios back in the 1920s were much bigger and bulkier. Nowadays, many of the radios have been amplified with ‘smart’ features like a touchscreen. That is if people even listen to the radio anymore! Many people are turning towards streaming music on Spotify, Apple Music, or even their Amazon Alexa.
