Too bad you couldn’t age gracefully,” a user trolled. Instagram Thankfully, a few people came to the screen icon’s defense, saying she can afford to enhance her looks. “Just think of all the humans who get eating disorders etc over unrealistic goals like that. I praise her daughters for their body positivity and discussion of their issues,” the troll continued regardless. Some others were concerned about Demi’s actor ex-husband Bruce Willis being absent from the fun time, especially since he is battling Frontotemporal Dementia. “Where’s Bruce,” a fan asked, with a few more echoing the question. Demi was first married to musician Freddy Moore in 1981, however, their marriage only lasted about five years. Although not much is known about her relationship with Freddy, Demi was only 17 when she married him and admitted to cheating on him the night before their wedding. “The night before we got married, instead of working on my vows, I was calling a guy I'd met on a movie set," she confessed in her 2019 autobiography Inside Out. "I snuck out of my own bachelorette party and went to his apartment. Why did I do that? Why didn't I go and see the man I was committing to spend the rest of my life with to express my doubts?” Instagram She claimed the heartbreak from losing her father drove her to make such bad decisions. By 1987, the Indecent Proposal star married Bruce, with whom she shares her three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Their marriage was of public interest and they were considered one of Hollywood’s favorite duos. Sadly, they split in 2000 but have remained close friends over the years, with Demi even supporting him through his recent challenges with Frontotemporal Dementia. Speaking of Bruce’s health challenges, Demi has been candid about her fear of losing him. However, she is making the most of what appears to be his final moments as well. “She's feeling extremely grateful and emotional. She's been going over her life with him and is thankful for all the things they've been through. Seeing him go through his struggles has shown Demi how to be a fighter. It's so bittersweet, but also inspiring. She admires Bruce so much, and she's preparing herself for their emotional goodbye,” a source recently revealed. Instagram After Demi’s marriage to Bruce ended allegedly due to her prioritizing her career over raising the kids, she moved on with Ashton Kutcher, who is 15 years younger. Sadly, their union crashed in 2011, and they officially divorced in 2013. Demi may have had Ashton’s child save for a miscarriage that broke her at the time. “Ashton did his best to connect with me in my grief. He tried to be there for me during the miscarriage, but he couldn't really understand what I was feeling,” she said, adding that he was too young to know how she felt. After her three unsuccessful marriages, the actress has been mostly single with her most recent relationship being a brief fling with Swiss chef Daniel Humm that fizzled out in 2022. What made Demi Moore famous? Instagram Demi is undoubtedly one of Hollywood’s leading and highest-paid actresses with a net worth of about $200 million. Her journey to fame started in the ‘80s when she appeared on the soap opera General Hospital and became even more known as a member of the “Brat Pack,” as well as her parts in Blame It on Rio, St. Elmo's Fire, and About Last Night. By the ‘90s, she became a top-earning film star, appearing in box office hits like Ghost, A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal, Disclosure, and Striptease— which paid her about $12.5 million. Her career dwindled in the late '90s. However, starring alongside Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu in Charlie’s Angels, and her roles in Bobby, Mr Brooks, and a few other 2000s projects jacked up her career again. She then focused on television and charity work, supporting the likes of All Day Foundation, American Foundation for AIDS Research, Artists for Peace and Justice, Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking, Declare Yourself, Free The Slaves, Healthy Child Healthy World, Raising Malawi, The Art of Elysium and UNICEF. Being exposed to parents who were alcoholics and drug users, Demi’s choice of such a life was not far-fetched. “The problem was, when I did have a drink, I couldn’t stop; there was no little voice in my head saying, That’s enough, Demi. There were no brakes,” Demi wrote of her alcohol intake, adding that her ex, Ashton, made her relapse as well. “I didn’t think, This is a kid in his twenties who has no idea what’s talking about. I didn’t think, I have nearly two decades of sobriety under my belt, and that’s a huge accomplishment. Instead, I cast about justifications for his argument,” she wrote.
