Minnelli shared that accepting her mother’s sudden death was incredibly challenging, and the reality of Garland’s absence felt surreal and difficult to comprehend.

She battled with substance abuse
In the documentary, Minnelli also shared her struggles with substance abuse, describing how she habitually consumed a mix of alcoholic beverages that consistently affected her negatively.
