The 2024 Met Gala kicked off on May 6, and this year's was particularly special for Pamela Anderson. The Baywatch star made her grand debut at the event on Monday, and she made a glamorous first impression with a dress that harkened to the days of Classical Hollywood. The Met Gala was started in 1948 by fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert as a fundraiser for the then-newly established Costume Institute. It has come to be regarded as one of the most exclusive events not just in New York but in the entire world. In celebration of her debut at this illustrious event, Anderson broke a few conventions and wore something particularly special. To better show off the classical look, Anderson swept her signature blonde hair up into a tastefully messy do. Feathers coordinating with her dress acted as an accent piece to her hairstyle and brought guests right back to the 1920s. It's also a look that Anderson favored throughout the '90s, immediately evoking feelings of nostalgia.
