Jack is the last of Caroline’s children, and although he never meets his grandparents, Jack is much like his grandfather regarding charity and political engagements. Jack founded RelightNY, which provides low-income families in New York with environmentally friendly, low-energy light bulbs for their homes. He also worked with the Washington Post, Time, and Politico as a political writer and has been vocal about governmental issues beyond his work. Speaking of being expressive about his thoughts on the US leadership, Jack controversially criticized his mom’s cousin— Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s choice to run for president this year. “I’ve listened to him. I know him. I have no idea why anyone thinks he should be president. What I do know is his candidacy is an embarrassment. Let’s not be distracted, again, by somebody’s vanity project,” he said via an Instagram video while expressing his support for President Joe Biden’s return. Caroline responded to Jack’s rebuttal against RFK Jr’s candidacy, saying she was not aware of it. “I know what I think, I know what Jack thinks, I know what Bobby Kennedy thinks," she simply said on The Today Show.
