Salma Hayek stepped out in London with Valentina Paloma Pinault for a rare public mother-daughter appearance. The actress attended the Serpentine Summer Party 2026 on June 23 with the 18-year-old, whom she shares with husband François-Henri Pinault.
According to People, Salma Hayek’s daughter’s outing quickly drew attention because the pair does not often appear together at major events. They posed side by side in sunglasses, with Hayek wrapping an arm around Valentina as they joined the star-studded celebration.

Hayek arrived in a light blue gown with a dramatic bow on one shoulder and satin details running through the dress. She completed the look with a sleek high ponytail and pearl jewelry. Valentina chose a dark gray coordinated set with a halter-style top and long skirt, keeping her accessories simple with sunglasses and minimal jewelry.
The event was not only a glamorous outing. The annual Serpentine Summer Party raises funds for the Serpentine Galleries in London. Hayek also helped co-host the evening alongside Alejandro González Iñárritu, Alfonso Cuarón, and Mike Bloomberg. This year’s celebration spotlighted LANZA Atelier, the Mexico City design studio behind the Serpentine Pavilion installation.
Their Close Bond Has Been Seen Before
Although Hayek and Valentina rarely walk red carpets together, they have shared public moments in the past. In 2022, Valentina appeared with her mother on the cover of Vogue Mexico. Since then, she has continued to show an interest in fashion and beauty, something Hayek has openly praised. Hayek has joked that Valentina knows about beauty products she has never even heard of. The actress said her daughter sometimes visits Koreatown for new products and brings back different recommendations each time. Hayek may be the global movie star, but she has admitted that Valentina is often the expert in that area.
Their bond also stood out earlier this year when Hayek celebrated Valentina’s 18th birthday on Instagram. She called her a beautiful “dancing queen” and praised her kind heart, wise spirit, humor, and determination. The tribute showed the affection behind their public appearances. That made their London outing feel especially sweet. Beyond the fashion and cameras, the appearance offered fans another glimpse of a proud mother supporting a daughter who is now stepping more confidently into adulthood. The Salma Hayek-daughter moment was rare, stylish, and full of warmth.
