Salma Hayek has always loved her natural beauty. At the 2025 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, she turned heads again with her stunning gray hair and confident looks. Salma Hayek was captivated all over the red carpet with her burgundy, long-flowing gown and neat hairstyle, which was simple yet elegant.
She wore her hair in a softly waved, half-up, half-down style, and allowed the natural silver gradient to blend with her dark locks. She looked radiant, proving that age can never be a barrier to one’s beauty.
Salma Hayek stuns with grey hair
Salma Hayek completed her look with a piece of emerald jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz, of over 300 carats of Colombian emeralds in her necklace, earrings, and cocktail ring, matching her eye makeup of emerald green eyeshadow and dark cat eye.
Over the years, Salma Hayek has been an outspoken advocate for embracing grey hair and aging gracefully. From her Instagram posts celebrating her silver streaks to sharing relatable humor about wrinkles and gray roots, she has inspired many to also embrace their natural beauty. “Me waking up and counting how many white hairs and wrinkles have crashed the party this morning.” She captioned a post in 2023.
Salma Hayek: warmth and confidence
Aside from showing off her grey hairs, Salma Hayek also cheered Selena Gomez at the 2025 Golden Globes Awards before Gomez’s interview with Variety. Salma Hayek embraced her warmly and encouraged her that the season was hers.
Salma Hayek’s message remains that there is beauty in being real, and she shows it to her fans in a practical way. The actress and producer has dared to redefine the demanding and unrealistic beauty standards in Hollywood by wearing her gray hairs with confidence. This is something considered as being vulnerable, yet Salma Hayek did not shy away from it.
