She earned a Master’s degree in International communication from American University and currently holds the position of senior manager of hematology recruitment and retention at the American Society of Hematology. Piper married her husband, Jeb Hermon, in 2016.

Melissa Sue Anderson’s second child, Griffin Sloan, was born in 1996 and is presently a litigation associate after obtaining his law degree in 2020. Griffin also keeps a low profile like her sister and is sometimes seen in pictures with his mother. Before venturing into law, he studied Sociology from 2014 to 2017, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree.
