Pamela Anderson had a recent chat with The Sunday Times where she revealed her experience with ditching makeup so far, and how it has affected her celebrity life. The 57-year-old admitted that she did not expect her decision to become a movement as more women are starting to adopt the makeup-free look.
So far, Pamela has no regrets switching from the smokey-eye makeup pioneer of the ‘90s to a minimalist woman in her late fifties, as she now feels more like herself than ever. She is also happy to redefine herself after decades of being a Hollywood sex symbol.
Pamela Anderson’s makeup-free journey
It all started when Pamela made the bold move of attending last year’s Paris Fashion Week event without makeup, thinking nobody would notice. She had on a Vivienne Westwood ensemble and a hat big enough to hide her face—or so she thought. She made headlines after the event and was met with compliments for her rare appearance.
Pamela has ditched her makeup ever since and has extended the change to her lifestyle as a mother and homemaker. She also admitted that her former persona was uncomfortable for her and her family, as her sons Brandon and Dylan had to deal with backlash online for her past actions.
Embracing a simpler life
Pamela now showcases a different side to her on social media, displaying her gardening, artwork, and cooking. She is set to release her vegan cookbook, I Love You, while also running her plant-based skincare line Sonsie Skin, which she credits for the glowy skin she gets to show off confidently without makeup.

Her acting career is still in motion, as she recently attended the special screening of her upcoming movie The Last Showgirl in Los Angeles. As expected, she was all natural with her rich blonde hair tied back to show off her stud earrings. She wore a silk blouse with matching wide-legged pants, and a pair of white stilettos to accessorize.
