Jay Fisher did excellently on Wednesday night’s episode of Jeopardy! but also caught viewers’ attention when he revealed his relations with the late Rock ‘n’ Roll king Elvis Presley. The Illinois-based government relations manager said his father and grandfather worked on Elvis’ famous property.
Jay’s father, who worked for a landscaping company while in high school, planted some trees at Graceland estate in Memphis. His granddad, who specialized in screen doors and screens, repaired Elvis’ windows.
How Jay Fisher is connected to Elvis Presley
Jay is older than the late Lisa Marie Presley by a few months; however, he recalled how babies got by their potty business at the time without disposable diapers. Parents often used reusable diaper cloths and patronized reliable diaper services, which meant using pre-owned diapers in their boxes.

Jay recalled how the diaper service driver would heartily tell his mother he had Lisa Marie’s dirty diapers in his truck, and it appears she did buy them. The contestant proudly announced that he may have shared diapers with Lisa Marie, and Ken Jennings called his claim to fame a “remarkable” one.
Jay cleared his first round with zero errors and made it to Double Jeopardy, where he again landed both doubles and won $19,700. In his final attempt, he lost a few thousand dollars but still made a two-day total of over $16,000 ahead of Thursday.
He returned against Meredith Miller from Arlington, Virginia, and Micah-Rahn-Tiemer from Grand Rapids, Michigan, to earn a three-day total of $28,200 in the latest episode. Jay was excited as the audience and fans cheered him on while rooting for his comeback on Friday’s set.
