Donny Osmond took to Instagram to share updates about his ongoing summer tour which ends mid-August. His post included an adorable clip featuring himself and one of his many grandsons sitting on his lap as they rode in a tractor. Donny told fans that he prepares ahead of a major tour by enjoying some granddad time.
While Donny’s video may have been intended to get his followers fired up for upcoming performances, it had them wondering what went wrong with his face. Some simply commended his good looks and joked about him looking young enough to be mistaken as the “kid’s dad.”
Mixed reactions about Donny Osmonds’ “youthful” looks
Donny, who turned 66 last December, has managed to maintain his endearing look since his rise to stardom as a teenager. Although this is something to admire, a few assume Donny undergoes extreme cosmetic procedures to look that good based on his recent post. “Stop the plastic surgery, Donny. You’re starting to look like Wayne Newton,” someone advised.

A source insisted that Donny is “nowhere near natural,” meanwhile Beverly Hills’ Dr. Robert Cohen also shared a similar idea that Donny got some Botox in his forehead, and did some “filler touch up work” with skin tightening. The child star has yet to confirm or deny the recent allegations, although he revealed nearly a decade ago that he tried Botox once and never went back.
Donny Osmond credits lucky genes for his youthful appearance
Donny regretted his first attempt at Botox, saying he could hardly move his muscles and would only stick to his usual routine and remain reliant on his good genes. The singer gets his regular workout in and claims to be a “vegan in moderation” who never deprives himself of good steak. He also credits his work ethic for keeping him youthful and energetic at 66.
While Donny appears to be in good shape at all times, he has had a few career-threatening illnesses, including paralysis due to complications from a previous surgery. He had to learn to walk again following neck and back surgery in 2019, which left him in fear of being permanently disabled. Thankfully, he has managed to emerge through these and cannot be more grateful for his enviable career and big family.
