Cher turned heads as she strutted across the venue at the Byredo Cocktail Party and the Vetements Womenswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show during Paris Fashion Week. The Goddess of Pop had her young boyfriend on her arm as she showed off a new beehive blonde hairdo.
The 77-year-old singer wore pants with circular cut-out detail with silver metallic stoning around the legs. She complemented the look with a pair of rockstar biker boots, a long blazer, and a fitting necklace. Her tresses stood out, being a contrast from her signature dark center part.
Cher’s dramatic beehive hair
Cher is known for rich, dark, lush hair that often cascades down her back and shoulders in the middle part. This time, she switched it up in hue and style, and fans could not get enough of the switch up. She has repeatedly mentioned that she “will still be wearing long hair, and I will still be doing the same stuff I’ve always done.”

She promised to keep her long and dark without letting the natural gray tint kick in. “Going gray is fine for other girls. I’m just not doing it!” she insisted. Per aging, Cher does not feel old yet and is “not trying to be young” thanks to her “pretty amazing” genes. “My friend Paulette and I were talking about when we were going to have to cut our hair…because it seemed like in those days that’s what women did, and it hasn’t hit yet,” she joked.
Cher’s young boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, appeared more casual in a shiny snakeskin blazer, a black T-shirt, mid-wash jeans, and grungy boots. The couple looked in love and excited, having been together for over a year. “I love being with him. He makes me laugh,” she said of her thirty-seven-year-old beau last year. “And we have fun. What I learned is that it’s never too late.”
Their relationship has been met with criticism since its inception, however, Cher has proven to not care with her clapbacks. “I’m Not Defending us. Haters are Gonna Hate…Doesn’ Matter That and Not Bothering Anyone,” the “Believe” singer snapped on social media. Aside from being a lover, AE also applies his talent as a producer to her work. “He’s a great producer. I let him do ‘Drop Top Sleigh.’ I had faith. And I was so thrilled,” an impressed Cher gushed about the track off her last holiday album.
