On Friday, it was announced that Adam Harrison died suddenly at the age of just 39. His father, Pawn Stars creator and star Rick Harrison, shared a tribute post the same day, showing father and son out for a meal together.
News of his passing was additionally confirmed by Rick’s representative, Laura Herlovich, to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss,” said the Harrison family in the wake of his death.

Rick, along with his other son Corey, were the faces of Pawn Stars, while Adam did not appear on the History program originally headed by the Harrison patriarch, “Old Man” Richard. But each member had heartfelt tributes to share after Adam’s untimely passing.

“You will always be in my heart,” said 58-year-old Rick on Instagram, “I love you Adam.”
Similarly, Corey posted on Instagram, “I will always love you bubba,” along with a childhood photo of the two brothers playing in a tub together.

Last week, as of January 19, the Las Vegas Metro Police told TMZ that an investigation into Adam’s death was underway. Herlovich released a statement to the Associated Press that Adam’s cause of death was a suspected drug overdose, adding that she did not know the exact location of his passing or what the substance in question might have been.
Beginning in 2009, Pawn Stars follows the activities and interpersonal relationships of the members of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. Its original team consisted of “Old Man’ Richard, his son Rick, and Rick’s son “Big Boss” Corey along with Corey’s childhood friend, Austin “Chumlee” Russell. According to Las Vegas Review-Journal, there was a brief period of time when Adam did also work for Gold & Silver Pawn.
The program became the highest-rated show on the History network. It was second behind only Jersey Shore as No. 2 reality show on television. Old Man Richard died in June 2018 at the age of 77.
