Fans of Full House watched John Stamos and Lori Loughlin fall in love as Jesse Katsopolis and Rebecca Donaldson, forming one of the most iconic pairs in sitcom history. Full House has been over for almost 30 years but the two click just as well as ever. For proof, look no further than a new dance video starring the TV husband and wife dancing together.
While Stamos, 60, had been with the Full House crew since the show’s premiere, Loughlin, 59, joined the fold in season two, first as a recurring character and then as a main cast member from season three onwards. Both are still acting, each generally favoring television with a few film roles tossed in, including in recent years. Meanwhile, online, they’ve treated Full House fans to a reunion between Jesse and Becky that proves the two still have as much easy chemistry as ever!
John Stamos and Lori Loughlin work well together again in a TikTok dance video
A new jig, the David and Victoria Beckham dance, has gone viral thanks to the Netflix documentary, Beckham, which shows the couple dancing together to “Islands in the Stream.” Countless TikTokers are recreating the now-iconic move set, including Loughlin and Stamos.

On his own TikTok, Stamos shared a video that starts with him appearing to dance by himself. The camera pans around as he frowns with each step, until finally Loughlin is brought into frame beaming from ear to ear and doing the moves in time with Stamos.
The two are perfectly in sync with one another and the dance takes on a new energy as soon as Loughlin joins in. In the video’s description, Stamos asks viewers, “How’d we do?”
Friendship beyond the fuller house
The story of Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse continued beyond Full House into the Netflix spinoff series Fuller House, which saw the main cast – minus the Olsen twins – reprise their roles from the original series. Loughlin was absent for the series finale for reasons originally left obscure, but in reality were due to her being fired by Netflix due to her involvement in the college admissions scandal in 2019.
However, Stamos has remained good friends with Loughlin every step of the way. For fans watching their video, it was like no time had passed at all, with one viewer reminiscing, “Just Jesse and Becky dancing in the kitchen This took me back to my childhood.”
These two feel the same. Stamos, in his new memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, defines their bond as a “true friendship that’s supposed to be the foundation of a great, lasting relationship.”
