John Stamos, in his new memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, revealed how he found his ‘80s girlfriend, Teri Copley, in bed with Tony Danza. He had driven to her house only to find a strange car in the driveway and was taken aback by what he saw peeking through the window.
Although Stamos has yet to forgive or discuss the incident with the Who’s the Boss star, Teri claims they were broken up at the time, so it did not count as cheating. “At first, I was like, ‘I’m going to kick his…’ I didn’t know it was Danza yet,” he wrote. “I see his abs. I’m like, ‘Maybe not. F— it.’ And I ran.”
Tony is not sorry
An insider told the National Enquirer that Tony was not at all remorseful about sleeping with Teri. “In fact, he boasted about it privately to buddies! It was like a notch on his bedpost…but John has NEVER forgiven him,” they told the outlet. Stamos, on the other hand, described the incident as his “worst nightmare.”

In his new book, Stamos recalled “running down the driveway with tears streaming down my face, and I didn’t want anyone to see me.” Having happened a long time ago, Tony considers the issue unimportant, hence his continued silence on the matter. “Tony’s not going to respond to any of this…and his message to John is to get over it!” a source said.
Tony faces backlash from fans
Besides being in the news for likely cheating with Teri, 72-year-old Tony was recently criticized by fans for being “condescending” towards a reporter on the red carpet of New York New York’s premiere. Tony responded to reporter Rye Meyers—who was excited to meet him—in a cold and demeaning way.
Tony was forced to apologize to fans and Meyers after the interview clip got out. “I just wanted to let you know that I did hear from Tony Danza earlier today. He called me to apologize and squash the beef, it was great to hear from him and certainly much appreciated,” the reporter confirmed.
