Sandra Bullock faced criticisms following unsettling allegations from former NFL star Michael Oher, the inspiration behind her 2009 film The Blind Side. The movie was adapted from the 2006 book, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game, by Michael Lewis, which detailed Oher’s journey as one of the thirteen children of a drug-addict mother and his path to football success after being welcomed into the seemingly benevolent Tuohy family.
However, the 37-year-old has initiated a lawsuit claiming that, contrary to what was portrayed in the movie, his guardians, Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, never formally adopted him, yet still profited from his achievements.

Some netizens are fiercely criticizing judgment on Bullock for the misinformation despite her grieving the recent loss of her partner Bryan Randall. “Sandra Bullock should give her Oscar back,” sports broadcaster Brandon Walker lashed out via X. “She knows she didn’t deserve that s – – t!”

“Sandra Bullock yelled ‘run the dang ball,’ a couple of times,” another critic stated, “and had the academy trembling on their hands and knees.”
“For some reason, the whole blind side was fake thing makes me just hate Sandra Bullock,” someone else wrote online.
Fans defend Sandra Bullock, saying she is not responsible for the misunderstanding
While the wave of negativity aimed at the actress is nearly drowning out other voices, numerous fans have swiftly come to Bullock’s defense. They asserted that the 59-year-old simply accepted a job and shouldn’t be held accountable for anything beyond that.
“People are really blaming Sandra Bullock????” a fan asked. “If Michael other didn’t know until recently, how tf was she supposed to know???'”
