Steven Tyler, the lead singer of Aerosmith, has been known to spend quality time with his four children, Liv Tyler, Mia Tyler, Chelsea Tyler, and Taj Monroe Tallarico. The actor loves hanging out and gracing various events and gatherings with his family members.
Recently, in a heartwarming photograph, the 75-year-old was pictured with his arm affectionately wrapped around his daughter Mia Tyler who, in turn, also sweetly embrace her six-year-old son Axton, who rocked a homemade party hat. The delightful snapshot was initially shared by a family friend but was reposted by Mia on her Insta story.
The says he creates time to bond with his family
Although all his children have now grown into adults, pursuing their own careers and starting their own families, Tyler has trained his family to recognize the importance of cherishing these moments of togetherness and strengthening their bond.

The 75-year-old revealed in a January 2018 interview with People that he makes a conscious effort to gather the entire family together during holidays. “Right now, I’m still really busy. Liv is in England — I went and saw her last year with the whole family. It’s just a little hard,” Tyler confessed to the news outlet. “We try to get together for Christmas and it’s fun, it’s beautiful. What we got is beautiful.”
Steven Tyler expresses his delight at being a grandfather
The renowned musician is also a granddad to four other grandchildren, Vincent Frank, aged 3, Lula Rose, Sailor Gene, and Milo William, asides from Axton, who Mia welcomed with her ex Dan Halen. During the Jane’s Fund gala held in Los Angeles in 2018, Tyler delivered a heartfelt speech where he expressed his immense joy and love for the role of being a grandfather.
“First of all, I’m Papa Stevie. The really young ones, like Mia’s son Ax, don’t know me yet,” he admitted. “When they get a little older and know me, see me on TV, I think things will change. That’s so amazing when that happens. They start looking at me different because they saw the ‘Janie’s Got a Gun’ video, or ‘Dude (Looks Like a Lady),’ or some ‘Sweet Emotion.’”
