Danica McKellar recently shared her opinion on Candace Cameron Bure’s controversial comments. Both Danica and Candace recently left their longtime partnerships with Hallmark to join the Great American Family Network. When asked about the movies that she would like to create for the family-friendly network, Candace said that she would like to see the network “keep traditional marriage at its core.”
Some became upset about her comments that seemingly left out the LGBTQ+ community. While Great American Family Network star Neal Bledsoe criticized Cameron and even left the network over her comments, Danica seemed to defend her.

Danica began, โNeal is a wonderful person. Heโs such a great actor and I have enjoyed working with him so much. He and I both share our love and support of the LGBT community for sureโฆ I donโt agree with his interpretation of her comments. I just didnโt see them the same way.โ

She continued, โ[Bure] started the sentence with โI think,โ which is not definitive, and she ended it with โat its core,โ which doesnโt mean exclusively. I donโt agree with his interpretation, but I love him to death and I wish him well.โ
Danica added that she is a “new Christian” and believes that “Jesus loves and includes everyone.” Prior to his exit, Neal stars alongside Danica in the new movie Christmas at the Drive-In on the Great American Family Network. What do you think about Candace’s comments?
