You might think that the tissues are changing over time, but actually, the tissues are changing color as you run out.
All the tissues are white until you get to the last few in the box. That’s when the peachy-yellow color emerges.
Why on earth would Kleenex make the last few tissues in the box a different color?
It’s to alert you that you’re running out!
If you have a bad cold, the last thing you want is an empty cardboard box where your tissues used to be.
Thanks to the peach tissues at the bottom, you always know exactly how long you have until the box runs out.
Kleenex has actually patented the nifty design trick. You can even find a note about it on the bottom of the box!
Once you get to the peach tissues, it means you have 20 left until the box is all out. It’s a thoughtful way to make sure you stock up before your nose decides to run for the hills!
@Kleenex On average, how many tissues are left after the first pinkish tissue? What is that color? #sick #Curious pic.twitter.com/JefeiDOUQI
