Laura Scheel and Matt Grodsky met when they were kiddos in preschool. In fact, one of Matt’s earliest childhood memories dates way back to preschool with Laura. “One of my very first memories is of being 3 years old and standing up in front of my pre-school class, declaring that I would marry her someday,” Matt wrote. He recalled standing in front of his class, declaring that he would one day marry Laura. One time, he tried to attract Laura's attention by breaking open a piñata. “I remember trying to impress her during a Cinco De Mayo celebration at the preschool where we were trying to break open a piñata. After preschool, Matt and Laura wound up attending different elementary schools. Because they were so young, they eventually lost touch with each other. The two began dating each other exclusively within two weeks. Although they attended different high schools and ventured off to colleges in different states, they stayed together. He brought her back to the preschool where they first met and popped the big question.
