The striking shot is one of a handful of remarkable pictures of Diana and her then-husband Prince Charles. They have recently been unearthed after spending decades forgotten in a drawer that belonged to a former royal housekeeper. The collection of images belonged to the late housekeeper of Princess Alexandra, the Queen’s cousin, and were found at her home at Thatched House in Richmond. They will be auctioned at Littleton Auctions in Evesham, Worcestershire.
