Four years after Saget’s death, the “Full House” star shared a collection of photos and videos celebrating the moments they spent together both on and off screen.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Bob Saget tribute included everything from playful throwback photos to musical memories, but one image carried particular weight. The collection traced their friendship through the years, from musical moments with Dave Coulier and the young Olsen twins to quieter memories later in life. The final slide showed Saget with wife Kelly Rizzo alongside Stamos and Caitlin McHugh on a beach. Stamos called it their “last pic,” revealing it was the final photo he took with Saget before his death in 2022.

Stamos and Saget first became part of one another’s lives when “Full House” premiered on ABC in 1987. Saget played widowed father Danny Tanner, while Stamos portrayed his effortlessly cool brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis. Along with Coulier’s Joey Gladstone, the characters formed the unconventional family at the center of the beloved sitcom. The series ran for eight seasons before ending in 1995, but the relationships behind the scenes continued for decades. Most of the original cast eventually reunited for Netflix’s “Fuller House,” which ran from 2016 through 2020 and introduced another generation to the Tanner family.

Saget’s death two years later devastated Dave Coulier. At his memorial, Stamos recalled how their friendship deepened far beyond Full House, with Saget supporting him through loss, divorce, marriage, and fatherhood. That history gives the latest Bob Saget tribute added meaning, showing two co-stars who became lifelong friends and a cast that stayed close long after the sitcom ended.
