The name Elijah Allman has often appeared in headlines because of his famous parents, but it returned this week under troubling circumstances. According to Fox News, Elijah Allman faced arrest at an elite New Hampshire prep school after police responded to reports of a disturbance.
Police charged Elijah Allman, 49, with two counts of simple assault, criminal trespass, and criminal threatening. Officers arrived at St. Paul’s School in Concord around 7 p.m. after receiving calls about a disruption in the dining hall. Authorities later released him on bail, and officials have not clarified why he was at the school.

Concord police responded directly to reports that Elijah Allman caused a disturbance inside the prestigious campus dining hall. In addition to the four misdemeanor charges, officers cited him for disorderly conduct. While the state considers disorderly conduct illegal, it does not classify it as a crime.
This Allman arrest follows another public incident earlier this year. In June 2025, deputies in San Bernardino County answered a call about erratic behavior at a residence in Landers, California. Authorities said emergency personnel evaluated him at the scene and confirmed that deputies found drugs inside the home before transporting him to a hospital. Investigators continue to examine that case.
Family History And Conservatorship Battle
The legal troubles surrounding Elijah Allman have previously extended into family court. In December 2023, Cher sought and received temporary conservatorship, arguing that her son struggled to manage his financial resources due to serious mental health and substance abuse issues. Court documents claimed he could not safely handle the trust established by his late father, Gregg Allman.
However, the arrangement did not last. In January 2024, a judge ended the temporary conservatorship after Elijah Allman formally objected. He stated in court filings that he did not need his mother’s help and that he had refrained from illicit substances that previously led to troubling situations. The renewed legal scrutiny now places Elijah Allman back in the public eye.
