Actor Danny Bonaduce became a household name as Danny Partridge on the 1970s hit The Partridge Family. Yet, before the sitcom made him famous, he had an unexpected opportunity to work with Elvis Presley in the 1969 film The Trouble With Girls. The experience gave him a front-row seat to the King’s personality, which was equal parts charm, humor, and generosity.

During a recent interview, Bonaduce reflected on his time with Elvis, offering fans a glimpse of the man behind the legend. His stories, first reported by Yahoo! Entertainment, showed how moments off-camera could be just as memorable as anything on screen. For Bonaduce, meeting Elvis left a lasting impression that shaped the way he remembered his earliest days in Hollywood.

Bonaduce described visiting Elvis in his dressing room with his mother during the film’s production. Elvis proudly pointed out his faucet handles, which were plated in gold and shaped like women’s legs. “He was so excited about the handles,” Bonaduce recalled, amused by how delighted Elvis seemed with such a quirky detail.

Elvis also went out of his way to make the children on set feel special. Bonaduce remembered how he bought toy Cadillac push cars for the young actors, including Brady Bunch star Susan Olsen. The generous gesture made the experience unforgettable, turning an ordinary set into something magical for the kids involved.

Olsen later admitted she didn’t initially understand Elvis’s appeal. However, the moment she met him, her perspective changed completely. She said his presence felt magnetic and his aura left her stunned into silence.
