Priscilla Presley is at the center of a legal storm once again. The 80-year-old widow of Elvis Presley is now facing sharp accusations in an amended $50 million case that has drawn headlines and heated responses. At the heart of the dispute is a claim that Priscilla was tied to the pressures leading to Elvis’ death, a charge she and her attorney have fiercely denied.
According to court filings, former business partners Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko alleged that Priscilla placed a lien on Graceland in April 1977, just months before Elvis’ passing. They argued this move added financial stress to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and contributed to his decline. In their updated filing, they accused Priscilla of being a “master of deception” who used the Presley name for her gain.
Priscilla Presley’s Legal Response
Priscilla’s attorney, Marty Singer, dismissed the accusations in strong terms. He compared the allegations to conspiracy theories, calling them absurd and insulting. “Priscilla did not have anything to do with the assassination of JFK, she did not cover up Area 51, and she is not secretly keeping Bigfoot locked in a cabin in Canada,” he said in a statement. He added that the accusations in the lawsuit are nothing more than character attacks.
According to Fox News, Singer also explained that the real case is about Priscilla’s claims of elder abuse and fraud by Kruse and Fialko. He argued that they tried to take control of her finances through deception and a series of rushed contracts. He called their accusations “shameful” and expressed confidence that Priscilla would prevail in court.
New Accusations Against Priscilla
Lawyer Jordan Matthews said Singer’s humor dismissed Elvis’ legacy and Lisa Marie Presley’s death. The complaint also alleged Priscilla ignored her daughter’s medical directives, drawing widespread criticism. According to the documents, Priscilla allegedly made choices about Lisa Marie’s care that created further rifts within the family.
Their complaint also tied Priscilla to strained relations with granddaughter Riley Keough, now managing the Presley estate. The filing cited alleged emails between the two, highlighting years of tension and mistrust. The lawsuit paints her as manipulative, while Priscilla’s own claims argue that she was the victim of exploitation. Both sides remain deeply entrenched as the court battle moves forward.
