For millions of fans, Don Most will forever be remembered as Ralph Malph from the beloved sitcom Happy Days. Over four decades have passed since the series wrapped, yet his charisma and talent remain just as strong. This year, the entertainer marked his 72nd birthday, reminding audiences that some TV icons never fade from memory.

Beyond his days in the fictional town of Milwaukee, Don Most has continued to carve out a diverse career. From his time voicing animated characters to appearing in hit series like Fantasy Island and The Love Boat, his work has touched generations. According to Parade, he appeared in 167 episodes of Happy Days between 1974 and 1983 and even reprised his role for the animated spin-off The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang. Yet television was only one chapter of his career. In the decades since, he has taken on guest spots in popular dramas, appeared on stage, and explored his deep love for music.

Speaking to The Denver Post, Don Most described music as “my first love,” explaining how jazz standards and legendary performers inspired him. “If I’m ever going to do it, I’d better start, because I’m not 20 anymore,” he said. That realization led to a jazz show he developed with an East Coast musical director, which he tested in a Los Angeles club to great success.

In 2023, Most and his wife moved to Longmont, Colorado, to be closer to family. The relocation brought new opportunities, including joining the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra in Denver, where he performs regularly. For the actor and singer, the thrill of connecting with an audience—whether on stage or in a club—remains unmatched.
