Joyce DeWitt Delights Fans With Rare Appearance Years After ‘Three’s Company’

Joyce DeWitt made a recent rare appearance, and fans could not contain their excitement. The actress played the role of Janet Wood alongside John Ritter as Jack Tripper in the 1977 sitcom Three Company when she was 27. Now at 75, DeWitt stays mostly out of the spotlight, but a recent TikTok livestream with Amy Yasbeck brought back her wit to long-time viewers.

Although she enjoys living a private life, DeWitt is also involved in philanthropic efforts, particularly providing food and shelter, as well as promoting health awareness. She has supported the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health following his untimely passing in 2003. In 2022, she also appeared in a music video for the Davisson Brothers Band.

As they spoke, fans told DeWitt about a nickname she had never heard before: “Jacket,” coined by Jack and Janet.

The 75-year-old actress laughed at the suggestion and remembered how several admirers confronted her about the possibility of a romantic relationship between her and John Ritter.
