Kate Pierson, one of the original members of The B-52s, is once again in the spotlight, this time with a new video she shared on TikTok. In the clip, she let fans know about the band’s upcoming performance at the Tecate Emblema Music Festival in Mexico City, which took place on May 16, 2025.
At 77, she looks quite different from how fans remember her in the early days of the band, but she still brings the same energy that made her famous. The B-52s have been around since 1976 and are famous for songs like Love Shack, Roam, and Rock Lobster. While they officially ended their final tour in 2023, they performed in a Las Vegas residency in 2024 and have shown no intentions of slowing down.
