Michael J. Fox made a rare public appearance in New York City this week, and fans could not hold back their admiration. The 63-year-old actor attended a boxing match in Times Square on Friday, where he was spotted arriving in a wheelchair. His team escorted him to the event, attending to his needs, as he has been living with Parkinson’s disease for over 30 years.

The event, tagged Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, featured a match between Ryan Garcia and Rolando “Rolly” Romero. Video journalist Mickey Blank captured the moment and shared a brief clip of the actor’s arrival on Instagram. Blank called the moment emotional, and thousands of fans echoed the sentiment in the comments.

Fox wore a tan button-up shirt over a white T-shirt, jeans, and gray sneakers. He appeared calm in his black wheelchair, with one leg casually crossed, as he passed through the crowd. When a bystander wished him well, he acknowledged them with a peace sign and a nod. Though Michael J. Fox has stepped back from acting in recent years, his public appearances still make an impact. This latest outing was not connected to any charity or foundation event, making it a rare moment for the beloved actor. Still, fans were quick to react and comment on social media.

“He looks amazing for everything he’s been through,” one fan wrote. Another called him “a true legend,” while others praised him for staying active despite his health challenges. Some commenters noted using a wheelchair, but many defended the actor, pointing out how strong and determined he continues to be.
