Robert Irwin, best known for following in his father Steve Irwin’s conservationist footsteps, just surprised the internet with a completely different kind of wild life. Not long ago, he appeared in a bold new underwear campaign for the Australian clothing brand, Bonds.
The campaign didn’t just feature Irwin; it also included snakes, lizards, and other native animals, all while he posed in nothing but his briefs. The photos quickly went viral, and his Instagram post pulled in nearly a million likes. People were shocked, amused, and impressed to see the Australia Zoo star showing off his physique.

The campaign’s release evoked a range of reactions from fans, their comments reflect the surprise and admiration from fans who have watched Irwin grow from a child into a young adult taking on new ventures. One commenter expressed, “Robert… as a Gen X woman. I am gonna need you to be older. We gotta calm the hell down out here.”
Another remarked, “Out of respect for your father, the Holy Spirit, and my committed role as your internet auntie…… Imma stay silent but crikey, mate. Crikey.” A third fan humorously noted, “This man’s putting out one heck of a mating call into the universe. Australia Zoo attendance is about to be through the roof.”
Robert Irwin shared his workout and fitness routine for the shoot
After the campaign blew up, Irwin posted more content revealing how he trained for the shoot. He said wellness and fitness have always mattered to him, but the Bonds job gave him a new goal to work toward. He added more movement to his daily life, including sprints across zoo grounds, and got help from both his mom, who used to be a bodybuilder, and his athlete brother-in-law.
Irwin explained that there’s no single plan for fitness. He focused on his own pace, stayed active, and paid attention to good nutrition. He also mentioned that his routine was about discipline and listening to his body, rather than comparing himself to others.
