As a wildlife warrior and conservationist, Robert Irwin is no stranger to unexpected encounters with animals, as he has had a few brushes with some. However, despite his vast experience with wildlife, Robert was taken aback recently by a surprise visitor at his home. The incident occurred on Christmas Day, but Robert waited until Boxing Day to share the shocking scene with his followers on social media.
While many people would have been frightened or alarmed by the sudden appearance of a wild animal, the 21-year-old, with his trademark calm and composure, revealed the unexpected guest that had dropped by his house, leaving many of his fans stunned and amazed.

In a hilarious and unexpected video shared on TikTok, 21-year-old Robert Irwin showcased a unique Australian experience that left his followers in stitches. The video began with Robert introducing the clip as another episode of “Tell me you live in Australia without telling me you live in Australia.” In the footage, viewers were met with a shocking sight of a long, slithering snake casually draped over his shoe rack, nestled comfortably among his boots.
Robert’s reaction was a mix of amusement and bewilderment as the snake, seemingly oblivious to his presence, began to burrow into one of his boots, prompting the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! host, to exclaim, “Get out of my shoe!” Seeing that the reptile was not ready to leave, Robert carefully reached into the boot and gently extracted the snake. As he held the snake, he couldn’t resist cracking a joke, saying, “What are you doing on a shoe rack? You don’t even have any feet!”
Robert Irwin had previously gotten unexpected visits
Robert’s recent encounter is not an isolated incident, as the young wildlife warrior has had his fair share of unexpected visits in the past. Earlier this year, during a trip to South Africa to work with the South African Wildlife Rescue, he documented a hilarious and unexpected encounter with an unwelcome guest who somehow managed to gain entry into his hotel room.
In a TikTok video posted at the time, he revealed that while sitting in his room, he suddenly heard a strange noise, which piqued his curiosity. He grabbed his camera and began to investigate, slowly panning the lens towards the source of the sound. To his surprise, a mischievous monkey was casually moving around in his bathroom, seemingly making itself right at home. Upon seeing the animal, Robert politely asked the furry intruder to vacate the premises, saying, “Could you please, uh, exit the premises? I don’t need you in my bathroom, mate.” It’s nice to see that Robert is following in his father’s footsteps, Steve Irwin, as he navigates life as a conservationist with humor.
