Special appearance on ‘Jane’
The primatologist shared with Jane and her friend David about the importance of trust when working with animals. As young Jane expresses frustration about the destruction of the natural world, Goodall reassures her that such feelings are natural since one would generally meet people who are carefree about the well-being of the world we live in and the biodiversity around us.
Dr. Jane Goodall encourages young Jane and viewers to focus on the positive, considering the increasing awareness of climate change and biodiversity loss. She noted that several young people were also becoming more aware of the importance of conserving the environment and protecting species at risk of extinction. Season 3 of Jane promises new adventures that aim to raise awareness about the environment and ways to preserve it, drawing inspiration from Goodall’s career.
