While Mel Gibson is in the news for his new thriller Flight Risk and as a longtime actor, he also has a bigger than-average family of nine children from previous relationships. He welcomed his ninth child with his girlfriend of more than a decade, Rosalind Ross, in 2017.
An insider claims Mel enjoys being a father because it keeps him young. He had his first child, Hannah, in 1980 with his ex-wife Robyn Moore Gibson, with whom he had six more children before their separation in 2006. Meet Mel and Robyn’s children, plus the ones from subsequent relationships.

Mel was filming Gallipoli in Egypt when Hannah was born in Australia in November 1980. The 44-year-old is now a mother of six and a hypnobirthing educator, according to her Instagram bio. She also worked with Mel as a production assistant and makeup artist on the set of his past movies.

Christian is one of Mel and Robyn’s twins, and he has also worked in the entertainment industry as a camera operator in several TV shows and movies.
Edward Gibson
Christian’s twin is a graduate of California College of the Arts in San Francisco, and unlike his brother, he is not in the entertainment industry. Edward also prefers a more private life and runs an art and furniture business, Natural Edge, which uses reclaimed wood slabs imported from Fiji.
