Ozzy Osbourne’s Parkinson’s Reportedly Worsens As Sharon Installs Lift In Home

Ozzy Osbourne’s struggle with Parkinson’s has not only affected his daily life, his finances have also felt it. The 76-year-old actor shared updates about his illness and how he has been adjusting to it. The singer was diagnosed with the disease in 2019 and has been battling it alongside his wife, Sharon Osbourne, who is also facing some serious health challenges.

Ozzy Osbourne shared his Parkinson’s diagnosis with the public in early 2020, explaining how the disease had impacted his life and career. He also mentioned that he required constant assistance as his mobility had been affected. In recent public appearances, Ozzy Osbourne has been sighted using a cane or wheelchair for support and mobility.

Ozzy Osbourne’s Parkinson’s journey

During this period of Ozzy Osbourne’s health struggles, his wife has been a source of support and help to him, and he is aware of it. She has done extensive renovations at their estate in Britain by adding a wing to the house, installing a lift, and even creating a fishing lake for Ozzy. “I’ve spent a lot of money,” Ozzy admitted.

Despite his illness, Ozzy Osbourne has not lost his sense of humor. When reflecting on moving back to Britain after many years in Los Angeles, he still found a way of making a joke out of it. Ozzy and Sharon’s decision to leave Los Angeles has been a long time coming. Although it would mean a fresh chapter, it also comes with challenges as they adapt to new routines and weather.

Sharon Osbourne has taken on the role of Ozzy’s caregiver while also managing her health concerns. Last year, she lost over 40 pounds with the help of the diabetes medication Ozempic and immediately made headlines. While she was happy about the results at first, her friends shared concerns about her struggle to regain weight after stopping the medication.

Even though Parkinson’s has influenced the lifestyle of both Ozzy and Sharon in many ways, they are facing it with resilience and cooperation. They also have around them a supportive family and fans, encouraging Ozzy to continue to confront his health issue with courage.
