Paul Hogan Makes Rare Public Appearance For ‘Crocodile Dundee’ Reboot Premiere

Paul Hogan is most famous for his role as Mick ‘Crocodile’ Dundee in Crocodile Dundee, and he recently made a rare appearance at the premiere of the reboot. The 85-year-old Australian star stepped onto the red carpet, confidently rocking a brown leather jacket over a black shirt and matching jeans.

His black trainers and leather belt added to his laid-back yet stylish look as he posed for the cameras. Hogan rose to fame in the ’80s, playing the adventurous Dundee in the cult classic film series. The Crocodile Dundee franchise, which included three films, earned Hogan an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor.

Where is Paul Hogan now?

Paul Hogan has mostly stayed out of the spotlight in recent years, especially after a serious health scare. In 2022, he shared that he had been diagnosed with retroperitoneal fibrosis, a condition that caused growth to press on his kidney. The steroids used for treatment left him weak and thin, but he has been focused on rebuilding his strength and getting back to his best.

Hogan now lives in Los Angeles, where he prioritizes his son above all else, and though he has expressed a desire to return to Australia, he cannot imagine leaving his son behind. In addition to his health struggles, he also faced a long investigation into tax evasion and fraud but was ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing.
