‘Dancing With The Stars’ Co-Host Alfonso Ribeiro Suffers Major Injury At Disney World

Alfonso Ribeiro from Dancing With the Stars is currently nursing injuries after appearing at Disney World in Orlando, Florida for a performance. The 53-year-old was with Julianne Hough filming holiday specials ahead of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day when the accident happened, leaving Alfonso in pain.

A clip from TMZ showed the TV personality with his arm around Hough and someone else while limping on his left leg. Sources say he was put in a wheelchair, and the crowd cheered as he was taken away for treatment.

How did Alfonso Ribeiro get injured at Disney World?

Reports say Alfonso mistakenly stepped on a trolley trail mid-performance, leading to a painful strain on his ankle. A witness mentioned that the show host winced in pain and puked in a nearby trashcan, while another clarified that the injury was minor.

Those present could not confirm if Alfonso returned to the set after, but the show was already taped before the accident and will air on ABC during the holidays. Videos of Alfonso and Hough’s performance made it to social media, as fans present at the Magic Kingdom Park recorded snippets of the taping.
