Celine Dion recently gave fans a rare glimpse of her twin boys, Eddy and Nelson, as she marked the ninth anniversary of her husband René Angélil’s passing. The boys turned 14 last October; however, they looked completely unrecognizable in the family photo she shared.
The wholesome outdoor shoot featured the trio dressed in coordinated cream outfits, and while Celine looked gorgeous, Eddy and Nelson stole fans’ attention with their remarkably mature appearance. They both have sporting light mustaches and beards as full as that of their 23-year-old older brother, René-Charles Angélil.

Celine and her late husband, René-Charles, had a daunting experience trying to expand their family. After welcoming their first son, René-Charles, it took several years of trying before they successfully conceived their twin boys.
The couple endured six rounds of IVF before finally receiving the news they had been hoping for. The twins’ names hold deep meaning for Celine who once shared that Eddy was named after legendary French songwriter Eddy Marnay, while the other was called Nelson in honor of Nelson Mandela.
Celine Dion’s twins are supportive through her diagnosis
The past year was a tough one for Celine, who suffers from Stiff Person Syndrome. The condition is a rare neurological disorder that causes severe muscle spasms, thereby affecting her ability to sing. Despite this, Celine has found solace and strength in her children. She gave fans a glimpse into her life with Eddy and Nelson in last year’s I Am: Celine Dion documentary.
The iconic singer explained how she has been honest with her boys about her health, reassuring them that it is something she can live with. She also gushed about the small yet meaningful ways her sons express their love and concern, which includes how they check in on her before bedtime or if she is taking longer than usual to get ready.
