Full House star Dave Coulier shared an update with fans about his battle against stage 3 non-Hodgkins lymphoma. During the podcast Full House Rewind, Coulier opened up to his co-host, Marla Sokoloff, about his journey to recovery.

Dave Coulier was diagnosed with the illness in October 2024 after a cold when the doctors revealed that he had an upper respiratory infection causing major swelling in his lymph nodes. Although the 65-year-old star is currently undergoing chemotherapy and adjusting to being bald, he is facing life positively.

Dave Coulier has been keeping up with his determination to approach his illness with strength, especially for the sake of his wife, Melissa Bring, who was hit by the shocking diagnosis and has been supportive ever since. Three months into treatment, Dave is still fighting cancer energetically and sharing his journey with followers and loved ones.

In the Friday episode of their podcast, he shared with Marla, his co-host, “I’m feeling good. My hair has not grown back at this time yet.” Coulier had shaved his hair two weeks after his diagnosis as a “pre-emptive strike.” However, given the cold in Michigan where he is, he has to cope with his baldness. He noted that having hair on the head keeps a person warm, but with his illness, he misses feeling that kind of warmth. Then Marla joked that his baldness could be useful in summer, and Coulier speculated about growing long hair after his recovery to make up for days of being bald.

As much as Dave Coulier is finding positivity in the situation, he still experiences the reality of being sick, “It’s been kind of a roller coaster ride. Different effects.” He noted that there are often side effects in the treatment, which when confronted with another drug, produces another side effect.

However, having people who have overcome cancer share their experiences to encourage him has been helpful, making him realize that his recovery is worth the pain of the process. Dave Coulier keeps sharing his story with the world to inspire others who may be having similar challenges.
