The unfortunate California Wildfires incident has forced residents of Los Angeles County to abandon their homes and businesses to seek safe grounds. Those affected have turned to social media to share their plight with the rest of the world while raising awareness and sharing resources.
Among the fleeing residents were Goldie Hawn’s family, including her stepson Wyatt Russell and his wife Meredith Hagner. Meredith shared several photos of the fire burning through the city on social media. Although safe, their house might just be among the ruins as she shared a video of what is left of the town, followed by a throwback of what it used to be.

Meredith also mentioned that other members of their family, including Goldie, lived close by and may have been forced to leave. Her husband’s half-siblings, Kate and Oliver Hudson, were also among those she mentioned. “My husband grew up here and went to preschool on the corner… It’s just unfathomable. Our little pocket of bliss,” she lamented.
Fans have expressed their concerns on social media as the fires are now spreading to Hollywood Hills. “This is devastating,” someone said, asking those affected to prioritize safety and follow evacuation instructions.
