Emma Heming Willis and her husband Bruce Willis celebrated 17 years together, and the former took to Instagram with a candid post relishing their time together, but also admitting to the challenge that comes with being his sole caregiver. “Anniversaries used to bring excitement — now, if I’m honest, they stir up all the feelings,” she admitted.
The 46-year-old shared her technique for shaking off negative feelings, which includes sitting alone and still for about 30 minutes to ponder. “Then I shake it off and return to what is. And what is… is unconditional love. I feel blessed to know it, and it’s because of him,” she added.

Emma’s anniversary tribute received thousands of comments from her followers and fans of Bruce, commending her selflessness and assuring her of support. “This picture embodies true love. Your devotion through the ‘worse’ of your vows, Emma, is a beautiful reminder of what love truly is!” someone wrote, referring to the accompanying photo of them in the ocean with the sunset behind them.
Another thanked Emma for being vulnerable about her journey and Bruce’s condition, which is a rare case with no known cure. “You’re an amazing lady and Bruce is an amazing man, no matter what has happened,” a second fan reassured her.
Is Bruce Willis getting any better?
Bruce’s condition has reportedly worsened as his ability to read, communicate, and interact continues to decline. His older daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah often assure the public that he is getting better, as they share photos with him during family time.
Bruce continues to enjoy the unwavering support of his fanbase and family, including his ex-wife Demi Moore, with whom he shares his three adult girls. The Willis girls are currently focused on creating memories with him as they are unsure of how much time he has left.
