Parker in the popular television series Baywatch, she immediately became popular and was dubbed a global sex symbol for her remarkable beauty and outstanding performance. However, the achievement became both a blessing and a curse for her as the moniker followed her throughout her career, ultimately changing her public perception.

While talking about her career run in a recent interview, Pamela Anderson opened up about how her sex symbol popularity affected her family, most especially her two sons, who had to grow up with her notorious reputation.

Pamela Anderson tried her best to protect her son’s innocence after becoming a mother of two by raising them away from the public eye. However, the 57-year-old revealed that this didn’t work even though she thought it did then until her sons grew up and shared their experience and trauma about their mom being a sex symbol icon.

The actress has no regrets about her life

In retrospect, the actress revealed that she has no regrets about the decisions she has taken during her career, while she admitted that she could have approached some of them differently. With both of her kids now independent and successful, Anderson explained that a lot of the burden she had as a parent has been relieved.

The actress also added that she can now prioritize herself and look into professional prospects that genuinely appeal to her as she is no longer burdened by the demands of upholding a relationship or managing family responsibilities.
