Buck Rogers was a popular short-lived series from the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, in which brunette beauty Erin Gray played Colonel Wilma Deering. The sci-fi sitcom lasted only two seasons, as it was discontinued in 1981 due to the network’s decision over declining ratings.
Erin appeared in most scenes as Captain William Buck Rogers’ love interest, and she was often in tight bodysuits and miniskirts. More than four decades later, she was spotted at a car wash in Los Angeles, looking unrecognizable at 74.

Erin wore an all-black outfit consisting of an Adidas puffer jacket over trousers and accessorized with a pair of dark sunglasses, a baseball hat, a cross-body bag, and sneakers. She was focused on her iPad while waiting with other customers for her car to be cleaned.
The mother of two remains active in the entertainment industry, however, she has expanded her horizons to other aspects. She currently runs Heroes For Hire, which is a talent agency focused on booking sci-fi and fantasy stars for conventions, charity events, and speaking engagements. She also co-wrote and revised Act Right with Mara Purl, which is a book of tips for movie and TV actors.
Erin Gray enjoyed playing the first female colonel
Erin loved playing Colonel Wilma, noting that she was an inspiration to young women and that they could be anything and be in charge. She admitted to being terrified as Rogers got stuck in time during an accident; however, she quickly recalled each time that it was not real life.
After Buck Rogers, Erin starred in more hits like Six Pack, Silver Spoons, and Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday of the Friday the 13th series. She returned for a Buck Rogers web series pilot in 2010, playing the title character’s parent alongside costar Gil Gerard.
