Zachery Ty Bryan is in trouble with the authorities yet again for a second DUI charge this year after driving under the influence and not having a valid driver’s license. He was arrested for the same reasons in February at his La Quinta home in California but was released on a $50,000 bail.
Further reports show that Zachery also failed a sobriety test and was involved in an accident during his latest ordeal. Aside from his role as Brad Taylor in the ‘90s sitcom Home Improvement, the 43-year-old has a reputation for breaking the law, as he was charged with a different crime last year.
Zachery Ty Bryan has yet another run in with the law for DUI
He was arrested last year in Eugene, Oregon, for domestic violence after two felony counts in 2021 for the same crime. He was sentenced to three years probation alongside a batterer intervention program. Although the victim is not confirmed because an anonymous source reached out to the police, it is likely his girlfriend, who he assaulted the previous year.
In 2020, he was charged with fourth-degree assault for strangling his lover, Johnnie Fay Cartwright, who was 27 at the time. He also grabbed her phone when she tried to call 911. Johnnie declined medical assistance after the incident and told the press the story was being reported maliciously.
Is Zachery Ty Bryan still an actor?
Zachery has made the news for felonies in the past few years and hardly for acting, making fans curious about his career. He even got into trouble last year for allegedly taking thousands of dollars from unsuspecting victims via a fraudulent agriculture-technology startup scheme.
He starred in a few movies after Home Improvement, after which his appearances dropped in the 2010s. He did a small role in 2022’s The Guardians Of Justice and is reportedly working on two films ahead of 2025. Zachery is a father of seven and has had previous relationships with ex-wife Carly Matros and fiancé Faye.
