With Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman back together on the new series Happy’s Place, fans are happy to experience their chemistry again since Reba. The show is about to get even better as another co-star from Reba is set to join them.
Happy’s Place premiered last week, and although the feedback from viewers was disappointing, they are willing to stick it out for subsequent episodes. The series sees Reba as Bobbie who inherits her father’s tavern only to find she has a step-sister to co-own with.
Who else is joining ‘Happy’s Place?’
Steve Howey, who played Van Montgomery in Reba will be joining Reba and Melissa in Happy’s Place. Melissa admitted during a media round that it feels just like yesterday that the whole gang was filming in the early 2000s, and being back together feels exciting.
Steve will be playing a rich businessman named Danny in the upcoming holiday episode, which also features Melissa’s character, Gabby, pretending to be Bobbie. Fans are even more enthusiastic about the plot, especially after Reba was abruptly canceled halfway through season six.
Fans are excited to watch Reba McEntire again
Fans are mostly happy to watch Reba act again, as the multi-talented star has proven her prowess in the past in other productions like Secret of Giving, Charlotte’s Web, and animations like Spies in Disguise and The Fox and the Hound.
“I’m ready for Reba, Melissa, Rex, and the gang,” an enthusiastic user exclaimed on social media. “I’ll listen to any song she releases or any series she puts out. Reba is one of those rare talents that you already know you’ll enjoy whatever it is because you enjoy her,” another gushed.
